Over het project

In 1886 the “Koninklijke Academie voor Nederlanse Taal- en Letterkunde (KANTL)” was established. It’s purpose is to stimulate the cultural and literary life in the Flemish region of Belgium. Their biggest activities consist of improving the cultural and literary life while at the same time doing research about these two subjects. KANTL has been doing this for 125 years, it’s a milestone in the history of the academy, Gent, the Flemish region, science and of course our language.
